What a pleasure it was to be part of the stunning What a pleasure it was to be part of the stunning Kutchenhaus Liverpool launch ✨ As someone who adores art, beautiful homes and all the tiny design details that make a space feel calm, luxurious and intentional… I was completely blown away. Every corner felt thoughtfully curated. Sophisticated. Effortless. Elevated. We had a ribbon cutting moment, champagne flowing, canapés making the rounds, and even live cooking from a chef that turned the whole space into a sensory experience. It was classy and polished, but still full of warmth, personality and those natural, candid moments I love capturing. And the outfits? Impeccable. I could have photographed them all day. Blacks. Lace. Gloves. Bespoke veils. Ribbons whispering “till death do us party.” Old world heritage meeting modern confidence. Historic portraits on the walls. Candlelit tables dripping in deep red florals. Then a bride who looks like she owns the room and knows it. That contrast? Unreal. The colour palette works so beautifully with the history of The Racquet Club. It doesn’t fight the space, it leans into it. Elegant English goddess with a rebellious streak. Subtle quirks. I’ve worked with the YMCA Liverpool for years now, I’ve worked with the YMCA Liverpool for years now, and one of the reasons we blend so well is that we both care deeply about telling the truth. Their work across the city, from supporting people experiencing homelessness to women’s refuge and rehabilitation, is powerful, necessary, and genuinely life changing. So when it came time to update their headshots, it felt important that the images reflected the same honesty. Clean. Confident. Natural. Still keeping that cool YMCA vibe. I love doing commercial photography this way. Real people, real expressions, in a way that helps them feel comfortable and proud of who they are. Because great headshots are not about stiff poses.
