Liverpool, you really do know how to make a girl f Liverpool, you really do know how to make a girl feel at home 🖤✨ I was asked to photograph the most gorgeous event at The Islington Bridal Boutique for the fabulous Karen, who also works absolute magic with bridal alterations — and honestly, what a day it was. There were nibbles, there was fizz, there were beautiful dresses everywhere… and my lovely friend Vicky from Glamorama was doing a live bridal makeup demo that looked absolutely stunning in person. But the moment that really got me? A real bride revealing her wedding dress to her family for the first time 🥹 There were tears, hugs, and so much love in the room. It was genuinely adorable to witness. I’ve spent so much time in the past looking at communities like this and thinking, “I wish I had that.” And now, I truly feel like I do. Liverpool, thank you for welcoming me into your world and making me feel so loved. The dresses are just insane, the people are amazing, and the whole day felt so full of happiness. Then rooftop drinks at sunset with friends, music playing, loads of chats, so many giggles, and one of those evenings you never really want to end. Sometimes I forget how lucky I am that this is my Sometimes I forget how lucky I am that this is my life. Just rocking up to salsa dancing at Pier Head, drenched in sweat, laughing with beautiful souls while the skyline glows around us. The scenery feels unreal, the people feel magical, and somehow this is just… my normal life. Today was one of those days that makes me stop and think: what the fuck. I get to walk through this incredible city, edit photos surrounded by history and water and light, then dance under the evening sky with strangers who feel like family. If I ever get too deep in my own head, I need to remember nights like this. Slow down. Reflect. Take more photos. Be present. Because this life — this city — is such a gift. My God, I am so blessed.
