Make it hot as hell. ❤️‍🔥 This bridal shoot at The Racquet Club Hotel was all about striking glamour, powerful women, strong men, and that unapologetic, English gothic romance energy. Reds. Whites. Blacks. Lace. Gloves. Bespoke veils. Ribbons whispering “till death do us party.” Old world heritage meeting modern confidence. Historic portraits on the walls. Candlelit tables dripping in deep red florals. Then a bride who looks like she owns the room and knows it. That contrast? Unreal. The colour palette works so beautifully with the history of The Racquet Club. It doesn’t fight the space, it leans into it. Elegant English goddess with a rebellious streak. Subtle quirks. Strong silhouettes. Soft lace against dark wood. It’s heritage, but cooler. And the best bit? You can get married here and step straight out onto Castle Street, Exchange Square and the surrounding city streets for photos. Historic inside. Urban edge outside. You get both worlds on your doorstep. Or if you want to go to the town hall then dance around the corner to your venue we are all up for that! This team though… next level. So much creativity. I’ve watched these kids grow up in front of my lens, seen their personalities come out, their confidence build, their style change. It’s honestly such a privilege. This time they came to my hometown, Liverpool, and we went full urban backdrop. Waterfront views, big buildings, clean lines, proper city energy. And because the boys are older now, it’s a whole different vibe. No one legging it towards the water. No chasing toddlers. Just relaxed, chilled, cool as anything. When families have been coming this long, they know the drill. They trust me. They can just be themselves. That’s when the good stuff happens. The laughs are real. The poses are easy. I’ve worked with the YMCA Liverpool for years now, I’ve worked with the YMCA Liverpool for years now, and one of the reasons we blend so well is that we both care deeply about telling the truth. Their work across the city, from supporting people experiencing homelessness to women’s refuge and rehabilitation, is powerful, necessary, and genuinely life changing. So when it came time to update their headshots, it felt important that the images reflected the same honesty. Clean. Confident. Natural. Still keeping that cool YMCA vibe. I love doing commercial photography this way. Real people, real expressions, in a way that helps them feel comfortable and proud of who they are. Because great headshots are not about stiff poses. Super cute then….there’s us singletons like (anyone else in the club…just me then lol)… you know what? We’re absolutely fine 😏❤️ Listen, I am a sucker for love. Give me the vows, the tears, the “that’s my person” energy and I am THERE with my camera living for it. Natural, editorial, documentary moments? Obsessed. Love stories? Forever.
