A little Bellagio, a little Vegas, and a whole lot A little Bellagio, a little Vegas, and a whole lot of style. ✨ Amanda & Paul absolutely ROCKED their Ashfield House wedding, and I’m still obsessed with it. The elegance, the incredible dress (those shoulders coming off later 👌), that bow tie, Sarah’s stunning florals from The Rose Boutique, the string quartet, the live caricature artist… this day had so many brilliant little details that made it completely their own. And then there was the love. The laughs, the stories, the tears, the energy between these two… unreal. I adored shooting this one. And when the sun went to bed, we headed outside to rock the sparklers and create a little winter night magic. This is exactly why I love weddings at this time of year, you can create a whole different atmosphere once it gets dark. ✨ Such an epic team on this one for Amanda & Paul, and guys, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. Going into Monday with a BIG smile on my face. 🥹❤️ Going into Monday with a BIG smile on my face. 🥹❤️ I got this lovely message just before bed last night from Saturday’s wedding, and honestly, what a way to end the weekend ☺️ Waking up with a smile on my face today, feeling incredibly grateful that I get to do this job — and that I get to meet such brilliant people along the way. I’m still very much in peak season, and it’s been a crazy busy weekend. Yesterday I was shooting the catwalk at the Great Northern Wedding Show, catching up with so many lovely friends and suppliers, and today I’m back at my desk starting Saturday’s wedding preview. So many photos, so many lovely people, and so much to be grateful for. ❤️ What a great day to be alive. Happy Monday, you lovely angels. Padel… but make it FLOATING. 🎾🌊 Last night I went Padel… but make it FLOATING. 🎾🌊 Last night I went along to the opening of Vibora Liverpool Waters with some of my neighbours from the building and honestly… what a vibe! Britain’s first floating padel destination, right here at Princes Dock — DJ, music, drinks, towels, goodie bags, loads of people having a brilliant time and THE BEST atmosphere. I’ve never played padel before, but I absolutely cannot wait to give it a go now. 👀🎾 And the fact this is literally just by home makes it even better. I’m already picturing summer evenings, paddles, drinks and watching the sunset over the water. When the killer photo just happens. 🔥 Sometimes i When the killer photo just happens. 🔥 Sometimes it’s not about setting anything up. It’s about being in the right place, at exactly the right time, and being ready when everything comes together. The warm glow. The riot of colour. The music, the movement, the flowers, the people. That huge festival energy filling the room. And then… that kiss. One tiny moment happening in the middle of all that noise and energy — and somehow everything else falls away. This is why I bloody love documentary photography. You can’t manufacture this stuff. You just have to be there, watching, anticipating, waiting for the magic to land. Good light. Good people.
